s::can at the Wings For Life World Run 2019

On May, 5th, the Wings For Life World Run was held for the 6th time in Vienna. 14 s::can runners took on the challenge and participated at the global charity-run. It is held simultaneously around the globe in 323 locations in 72 countries and ends when all 120.000 runners are caught by the Catcher Car.

The car starts half an hour after the beginning of the run and continuously increases its pace to even catch the toughest runners. 100% of the registration fees are dedicated to fund research to cure spinal cord injury. The run was quickly sold out in Vienna, with a total of 13,500 runners.

The s::can runners ignored the cold, rainy weather and enjoyed running for a good cause. As a team the 14 runners reached a total of 240 km.
