On September 12th, the Vienna City Marathon finally took place again for the 38th time after being postponed last year. It is Austria’s largest road running event – and s::can was on board!

Details
Showing great team spirit, 8 s::can runners in 2 relay teams took on the challenge and participated successfully in the race on a Sunday with perfect weather conditions along a picturesque route of various landmarks of the city. There were more than 25.000 runners participating in total and the meticulous access system to prevent the spread of Covid worked perfectly.
Thanks to the VCM Virtual Race there even was the possibility to take part from anywhere in the world, choose your own individual route and connect to other runners.
